From the moment Clare and Lee contacted me in May 2020, amid the uncertainty of the pandemic, I knew their wedding would be unique. Rushton Hall had long been one of my dream venues, and the excitement to finally capture a grand wedding was beyond words. The venue exceeded every expectation, with its sprawling, picturesque grounds offering endless photo opportunities and interiors bathed in stunning natural light, ideal for creating timeless and elegant portraits.

Clare and Lee embodied joy and resilience on their special day. Despite the challenges of Covid postponements and the heartbreaking loss of Clare’s mum just weeks before their January 2022 wedding, they embraced the day with love and warmth. It was a beautiful celebration of their love story and a testament to the strength of family and togetherness. The day carried the bittersweet weight of Clare’s mum’s absence, but every detail of the grand wedding honoured her memory, making it even more meaningful.

The crisp, sunny winter morning set the stage for a truly magical experience. The soft winter light streaming into the bridal suite created a glowing atmosphere that perfectly complemented the joy and emotion of the preparations. Clare looked radiant in her gown, and the stately grounds of Rushton Hall provided a stunning backdrop for portraits. The cake, adorned with delicate handmade angel wings in memory of Clare’s mum, was a work of art and a deeply touching tribute. As the evening unfolded, Rushton Hall’s magic continued to shine. Clare and Lee stepped out into the crisp January night for one final photo under the warm ambient light of the Grand Hall.
